Made by Google 2026: Pixel 11, Pixel Watch 5, Pixel Tag, Gemini Updates

Google’s Made by Google 2026 event brought a wave of hardware and software announcements, led by the Pixel 11 series, the Pixel Watch 5, and the company’s first-ever tracking tag, the Pixel Tag.

On the software side, Google expanded Gemini‘s role across its devices. Live Transcribe now supports American Sign Language translation via the Pixel Camera, allowing sign language to be converted into text. A new voice-input feature called Rambler is designed to handle run-on sentences, filler words, and less structured speech, making voice commands more natural. Circle to Search can now be triggered directly from the Pixel Camera interface, letting users identify objects, search, translate text, or ask questions without leaving the camera app.

The Pixel 11 receives a redesigned camera bar that is more than 40% thinner, now using an all-glass surface across the phone’s width. Base storage jumps to 256GB, doubling the previous starting capacity, but the price increases to $899 (up $100). Google cites the removal of the 128GB option and the ongoing RAM supply shortage as reasons for the hike. The phone comes in Frost, Hibiscus, Pistachio, and Obsidian.

The Pixel 11 Pro and Pro XL focus on durability, with improved drop resistance and a new anti-scratch display coating offering more than twice the scratch resistance of the Pixel 10 Pro models. Pricing starts at $1,099 (up $100 from the Pixel 10 Pro). Colors include Canyon, Fog, Olive, and Obsidian (with an all-matte finish for Obsidian).

The Pixel 11 Pro Fold is nearly 10% lighter and almost 1mm thinner than its predecessor, with slimmer bezels, a 48-megapixel main camera, and 30x Super Zoom. It also uses a glass-fiber composite back cover and a redesigned hinge, making it three times more durable than the Pixel 10 Pro Fold, according to Google. It retains IP68 resistance and comes in Olive and Obsidian.

Google finally entered the item tracker market with Pixel Tag, priced at $29 ($99 for a four-pack). It connects to Android’s Find Hub network for location tracking via the Find Hub app, and can be located from a Pixel Watch. Pixel Buds users can ask Gemini to find or ring a tagged item.

The Pixel Watch 5 gains health-focused updates: the Google Health app now provides monthly summaries of blood pressure trends and insulin resistance trends. The 41mm model starts at $399, the 45mm at $429, and a Stephen Curry edition (designed for workouts) is available for $579. The Pixel Buds Pro also get a new Olive color option.
