Since it was announced inside Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform at I/O in May, Google Antigravity is now available as part of eligible Gemini Enterprise subscriptions rather than as a separate add-on. The change directly addresses customer feedback: developers wanted the coding agent surfaced in the IDEs they already use, governance teams wanted consolidated security and license controls, and finance owners wanted pooled usage so prepaid tokens never sit idle.

Administrators can enable Antigravity and Android Studio from the Gemini Enterprise admin console for users on eligible Gemini Enterprise Standard, Plus, and Standard Emerging Market licenses. Spend, security, observability, and usage metrics are all consolidated in that console, replacing the need to manage separate add-on billing and invoices. Cost controls are the headline: administrators can set monthly project-level budget caps directly in the Billing console, with additional per-user and team controls rolling out later this year; pooled token quotas allow shared capacity across high-demand teams; overage enablement with monthly caps can smoothly transition excess usage to standard consumption-based rates when pooled quotas are met; and centralized usage tracking shows token consumption, API calls, and developer activity.

Security and compliance inherit Google Cloud’s standard protections. Teams can enforce workspace sandboxing and browser and MCP server access through configurable security policies, keeping agents inside authorized enterprise environments. A single toggle enables complete audit logging for prompts, agent responses, and metadata for compliance reporting. Data ownership remains under Google Cloud’s Terms of Service, with all agent activity executing strictly within the cloud boundary.

On the development side, today’s release adds new Antigravity extensions for Visual Studio Code, with Visual Studio, JetBrains, and Zed IDEs listed as previews, alongside the existing Antigravity 2.0 desktop app and the Antigravity CLI. Both Workforce Identity Federation (WIF) and Application Default Credentials (ADC) are natively supported, letting administrators enforce corporate identity standards without adding setup friction for developers.
