Co-founder and CEO Mukund Jha positions the platform as an “engineering team in a box” that handles deployment, hosting, testing, and debugging — not just code generation. He names Replit as the closest rival, while distinguishing Emergent from developer-focused tools like Claude Code, Codex, and Cursor.
