Nous Research confirms $1.5B valuation, launches Hermes for Businesses

Nous Research confirmed it has raised a $90 million Series B at a $1.5 billion valuation, validating TechCrunch’s earlier reporting.
Robot Ventures led the round, with participation from Nvidia, Union Square Ventures, Menlo Ventures, Samsung, and 1789 Capital, where Donald Trump Jr. is a partner.
The three-year-old startup has now raised $158 million in total funding.
The company is best known for its open-source Hermes agent, which developers and individual users have cloned more than 24 million times.
According to Nous Research’s own estimates, Hermes drives roughly 2.5% of global AI token usage.
The new capital will support the company’s move into the enterprise market through “Hermes for Businesses,” which lets companies deploy customized AI agents capable of handling multi-step workflows while keeping their data private and secure.
The Wall Street Journal reported that Nous was at roughly $36 million in annualized revenue by mid-September 2026 and expects to exceed $100 million before the end of 2026.
