Meta opens early access program for new Muse AI features

Meta has opened requests for early access to new features for its Muse AI app, following a series of announcements at its Connect 2026 developer conference. In a post shared on Friday, the company provided a link to a prompt that users can send to Muse to register interest in the early access program. The prompt is also directly copy-pasteable: “Can you let the Muse team know I want to be part of the Muse early access program?”
Rather than relying on randomized A/B testing or a typical invite-only pilot, Meta is explicitly targeting AI enthusiasts as its first testers. The stated rationale is that this crowd tends to use multiple AI apps and agents and has a strong understanding of the market, so their early feedback could help Meta stay ahead of the competition.
While the post does not detail every upcoming capability, it recaps several features Meta teased at Connect. These include a digital avatar for Muse that users will be able to video chat with, additional shopping partnerships and connectors, and an expansion of the Muse Mac app that will let it use the computer to complete various tasks. Meta also said Muse will come to its lineup of AI glasses, allowing users to interact with the agent by speaking a wake word and then issuing a command. The early access program appears aimed at letting interested users try these features before the general public.
