Mesh personal CRM arrives on Android

Automattic‘s personal CRM Mesh, acquired last year, has launched on Android. The app lets users privately visualize and track personal and professional networks, add notes to contacts, and set reminders to reach out. On Android, Mesh integrates with platform features like split-screen and pop-up views, allowing access while using messages or email. It also supports keyboard shortcuts for foldables and tablets, in-app search, home screen widgets with Material You colors, and real-time cross-device sync.
Mesh is designed to integrate more closely with Automattic‘s messaging app Beeper, which connects across platforms like WhatsApp, Instagram, Signal, and LinkedIn. Currently, users can draft texts to someone in Beeper or click deep links to visit a Mesh profile. Future plans include additional AI features for personal relationship management. Nexus AI, currently in early access, lets users query their network (e.g., who they know at a company, who lives in a city, who has expertise in a topic). The company is also experimenting with voice-based hands-free interaction and improved business card scanning.
Mesh is subscription-supported and does not share personal information for ad targeting. It is free for up to 1,000 contacts, with paid tiers for unlimited contacts and other features. About 70% of users are using it for business purposes, with executives managing larger teams as the sweet spot. The company aims to keep features applicable to both business and consumer use cases. Mesh for Android is available on Google Play for phones, tablets, and foldables as a free download with in-app purchases.
