Google has selected 33 startups for its Gemini Startup Forum: Cybersecurity, a program that provides access to AI and cybersecurity specialists from Google DeepMind, Google Cloud, and Wiz. The cohort is organized into six focus areas: AI agent security and governance, application security and vulnerability management, cloud/network/infrastructure security, endpoint security and data protection, SOC automation and offensive security, and security infrastructure and specialized services.

In the AI agent security and governance area, startups include Capsule Security (runtime behavioral monitoring for autonomous agents), Evoke Security (EDR for AI agents), Manifold Security (agentless detection using graph analysis), Mirror Security (fully homomorphic encryption for data-in-use), Onyx Security (AI control plane for governance), Refractal (runtime GRC infrastructure with cryptographic audit logs), Unbound Security (agent access security broker for coding agents), and XOR (reinforcement learning training data for secure coding). Application security and vulnerability management startups include Aisy (attacker-perspective vulnerability prioritization), Alt Security (agentic penetration testing), Arcjet (in-code security via SDK), and Pixee (automated vulnerability triage generating verified pull requests). Cloud, network, and infrastructure security startups include CloudFence (network pattern monitoring), CyberSeQ (encryption scanning for quantum readiness), Huskeys (firewall optimization), Native (multicloud security control plane with simulation engine), Prowler (open-source cloud security posture management), QIZ Security (cryptographic asset management for post-quantum transition), and Tracebit (cloud-native decoy detection).

Endpoint security and data protection startups include Bold Security (user-space endpoint agent with on-device classification), Glow (unified monitoring of endpoints, software, and AI agents), Jazz (intent-aware data loss prevention), ORION Security (indicator-driven DLP tracking data lineage), and MokN (credential theft reversal via decoy access points). SOC automation and offensive security startups include COGNNA (agentic SOC platform), Latent Defense (world models for cyber attack path analysis), Mate Security (AI-native SOC with alert triage), Nrdsnipe (AI-driven network penetration testing via Hedgehog), RIFFSEC (dark web and threat intelligence monitoring), and TandemTrace (autonomous agents for alert investigation). Security infrastructure and specialized services include Netsec (all-in-one IT lifecycle management in collaboration channels), Revelum (deepfake fraud detection and takedown), and Synqly (unified connectivity platform for cybersecurity tool integration).

The cohort reflects the industry’s shift from perimeter defense to autonomous AI agent security, emphasizing enterprise governance and safe AI deployment. Google has supported over 50 cybersecurity founders in the past four years through Google for Startups. The Gemini Startup Forum is part of the Google for Startups Gemini Kit, which offers APIs, tools, and training to help startups scale with AI.
