Google is offering a free summer training program called Gemini Enterprise Agent Ready (GEAR) that provides hands-on labs and courses for building and deploying AI agents.

The curriculum covers foundational agent concepts, enterprise use cases, human-centered AI, multi-agent orchestration, and production operationalization.

Participants can earn skill badges for creating Gemini Enterprise applications, orchestrating multi-agent workflows with Gemini Enterprise, and engineering agents with the Agent Development Kit (ADK).

Specific labs include adding currency tools to an agent using MCP in 20 minutes and managing agent memory and state with session states.

The program culminates in the All Things Agentic Hackathon (submissions Aug 3-31, 2026) with $180,000 in prizes.

The training targets developers and IT leaders who want to move AI agents from prototypes to production on Google Cloud.
