Floqer’s AI agents automate sales prospecting; open-sourcing database

Floqer is an autonomous customer knowledge platform for B2B sales and marketing teams. It maintains an AI-powered database that continuously collects, organizes, and updates customer information. Floqer will present Wednesday on the Startup Battlefield stage at TechCrunch Disrupt 2026, and told TechCrunch it plans to open-source the technology behind its database, targeting early 2027 pending security reviews. The startup reports over $1.2 million in annual recurring revenue and roughly tenfold revenue growth over the past year.

Floqer was founded in 2024 by CEO Shivam Mahajan and Zaaheda Islam, who met at university; Mahajan previously worked as a software engineer at Kyndryl and Islam as a senior data scientist at Axis Capital. The company’s first product was a Chrome extension called ‘Super Chat‘ that let users log in with their ChatGPT account to understand information and take notes. The founders noticed enterprise customers were using the extension to clean up data in their CRM systems, and learned that keeping CRM data clean was largely manual with no established processes. That insight led to the pivot to Floqer.

Floqer automates the research behind prospecting. Users describe what they are looking for, and its AI agents search multiple sources to build lists of relevant companies and contacts. The system can enrich accounts using more than 100 third-party data sources. For verified email addresses or phone numbers, it uses a waterfall approach, checking one data provider after another until usable information is found. It continuously monitors the web for changes, so a prospect’s job change, promotion, or a company funding round can be reflected in customer records. Floqer describes the technology as a fleet of AI agents that continuously research companies, people, and customer interactions. Customers have reported cutting prospecting time by as much as 70%.

Mahajan said the autonomous customer knowledge database is currently available only to a limited audience because of demand and the team’s ability to serve it. Open-sourcing is partly a response to customer demand: some companies want to host their own data rather than keep it in a vendor’s proprietary platform, and others want to modify the technology or build on top of it. Before the release, Floqer is conducting security reviews because the database can contain sensitive customer information and large companies already use it. Floqer has raised $2 million in pre-seed funding from investors including Perplexity’s F7 Fund, N49P, Tidal Venture Partners, and Perplexity co-founder Denis Yarats. It has eight employees and more than 1,000 customers, including Perplexity, Wise, and AngelList.
