Apple will reportedly announce a new smart home hub called the HomeView on Tuesday, according to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman. The device is described as Siri-powered, with a display and an A18 chip, letting customers control their other smart home devices. It will come in two models: one designed for countertops and one for wall mounting.

This launch represents Apple‘s most serious bet on the smart home to date. The company has previously struggled to gain traction with its HomeKit software framework and HomePod smart speaker. Alongside the HomeView, Gurman reports that Apple will also unveil updated versions of the Apple TV set-top box and the HomePod mini.

Earlier this week, Gurman also said Apple plans to announce a partnership with LG to create a smart lock, a thermostat, and a doorbell. The reported lineup signals a broader push into home hardware beyond the hub itself.
