
Naïve raises $28.5M to automate business setup with AI agents

Naïve, which offers infrastructure that lets AI agents take on the work of running a business, has raised $28.5 million in a Series A led by Nexus Venture Partners, with Y Combinator, Zetta, Liquid 2, and angel investors also participating. The round brings total funding to about $32 million. The company says it has signed up over 30,000 developer customers within months of its launch, and CEO and co-founder Sean Dorje told TechCrunch that annual run-rate revenue has grown 10x to the low double-digit millions over the past six months.
The startup packages business setup behind a single API, letting developers use a supplied prompt with tools like Cursor, Claude Code, or Codex to provision infrastructure for a U.S. LLC, email inboxes, virtual cards, phone numbers, databases, computing resources, and connections to services such as Stripe and QuickBooks. Users are still required to complete KYC/KYB processes and make any required payments. A governance layer helps set budgets, restrict agent capabilities, and require human approval for sensitive actions. Templates cover AI SEO, full-stack SaaS apps, recruiting, accounting, customer support, and a mobile emulator for agents to operate smartphone apps. Customers are reportedly using Naïve to run AI automation agencies, faceless TikTok and YouTube content channels, and even a rental car agency.
Naïve is also using some of the new capital to reduce agent operating costs, building a model router to pick the most efficient model, a memory system for business context, an orchestrator for dividing work among agents, and a serverless runtime that runs agents in lightweight JavaScript environments instead of full VMs. Dorje says inference and serverless agents are the fastest-growing demand, and the part of the business is attracting enterprise interest. He added that proceeds will be used to hire researchers and develop four infrastructure projects: virtualized sandboxes, model routing and inference optimization, a memory layer, and governance and orchestration.
