Anthropic and Cognizant expand enterprise AI partnership

Anthropic announced an expanded partnership with Cognizant, a global technology services company. Cognizant uses Claude in client systems across manufacturing, life sciences, and insurance. Under the expansion, Cognizant is embedding Claude into its own business and engineering platforms, scaling a Claude-certified workforce as part of its new Frontier Certified workforce model, and becoming a Global Premier Partner in the Claude Partner Network.
Cognizant‘s engineers build with Claude daily; over 30,000 associates have completed Claude training. The company is embedding Claude across platforms including Flowsource™, Neuro® AI Engineering, and Neuro® IT Ops. Flowsource, its full-stack engineering platform, now uses Claude Code alongside its Spec-Driven Development module, directing Claude Code with project specifications, coding standards, and architectural blueprints before evaluating output for production.
Client examples built by Cognizant with Claude include a customer experience portal for a global manufacturer delivered within six months, an agentic contract-intelligence system for a biopharmaceutical company that cut contract review time by up to 40 percent and achieved extraction accuracy above 88 percent in that deployment, and a risk-navigation tool that reduced underwriting research from hours to minutes, saving each person roughly eight hours per week in that deployment.
Cognizant CEO Ravi Kumar S noted that AI capability is rising faster than enterprises can absorb it, and the company’s role is to provide industry context, engineering scale, and trust frameworks to deliver production outcomes. Anthropic co-founder Daniela Amodei said deepening the partnership will help more companies deploy AI in practical ways across demanding industries.
