Google Cloud revenue surges 82% driven by enterprise AI adoption

Alphabet’s latest earnings report shows Google Cloud revenue surging 82% year-over-year to $24.8 billion, well above analyst expectations of $22.46 billion.

The cloud growth is driven by enterprise AI solutions and AI infrastructure adoption, according to the company. Alphabet’s overall revenue grew 24% to $119.8 billion, while profit jumped to $112.

1 billion from $28.1 billion a year earlier. Google also reports 950 million monthly active users for its Gemini chatbot, up from 750 million in Q4 2025.

Capital expenditures remain high, estimated at $180–190 billion for the year.

CEO Sundar Pichai told analysts on the earnings call that the company expects its compute capacity investments to pay off in 2027, citing strong demand indicators and long-term deals.

This is Alphabet’s 12th consecutive quarter of double-digit revenue growth.
